10 Treasures Found Inside God’s Sacred Secret

When you check into a hospital you receive a Patient’s Bill of Rights. Schools have a Student’s Bill of Right. Most workplaces have them (in the form of an employee policy). In fact, the UN has an International Bill of Human Right and, of course, there is the United States Bill of Rights

God declares certain rights to the believer. I am calling them Sonship Rights, as others do, just to package them together and because they are imparted to us, they are guaranteed and cannot be taken away from us being Sons of God and citizens of His Kingdom. These are given to us when we are born again. These are tremendous truths, cornerstones of the faith, with which we should be claiming in our walk.

It recently dawned on me that these truths must be part of the mystery because they are not revealed in the OT. The riches of the glory of the mystery is Christ in you (and the church as a whole). Being the riches, there must be other treasures buried in the mystery. It is like uncovering a buried box, opening it and finding it contained a large diamond surrounded be smaller precious stones.

1Co 2:7 KJV – But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, [even] the hidden [wisdom], which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
Col 1:26 KJV – [Even] the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:
Col 1:27 KJV – To whom God would make known what [is] the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

1Co 2:6-8 KJV – Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought. But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, [even] the hidden [wisdom], which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known [it], they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

Had the mystery (sacred secret) been revealed by Yahweh in the OT or verbally spoke, the Jews would have never had Jesus crucified. This is a really big deal. This would have spoiled God’s plan and prevented our redemption. This never would have happened because God’s acts and timing are precise and flawless (What would have happened to Jesus had he not been crucified? Would God have a plan B? These questions need not be asked or to ponder them is foolishness.)

All uses of the word mystery magnify our understanding of it. (hover).

Rev 17:5, 7

But the mystery does not end here. Christ in you is only the riches of the glory. What other treasures have been given? See this verse!

Col 2:2-3 KJV – That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgment of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

What are these treasures? Below is a partial list of ten valuables given to us when we received the gift of the holy spirit, Christ in us. We have the right to claim these as they have been reclaimed for us and so we may proclaim these. The definitions of these rights and privileges are given in the tooltips if you hover, as well as each time the words are used anywhere on the BT.

Reconciliation to God forever

The Ministry of Reconciliation

Participation in the ekklesia (the assembly of believers, the church)

The manifestations of the spirit.

Hope ( guaranteed to be at the gathering together (rapture)

The Gift of the Holy Spirit

The riches of the glory (Christ in you) is part of the mystery, the large diamond, the pinnacle. It includes other glories that we can prize and claim now. These, therefore, was hidden in God (secret) and applies to the church in this present time period. For example, the rapture cannot be found in the OT or the gospels–only the resurrections of the just and unjust. Neither is the gift of the holy spirit. The church itself was secret. These types of promises are also made to the believing Jews, but they will have them at the resurrections which follow the rapture. (There is much more on this topic in Mystery Revealed

Claim your Sonship rights, renew your mind to them and walk in them. You have them!
